Skeet Shooting
There are so many things to do at Pine Manor Estates that many of our guests choose not to leave the property. But the ones that do, often find adventures they never dreamed of in Southern Illinois.
An all-time favorite of past clients and guests is going skeet shooting. We have guests from all over the world come in for corporate trainings or family vacations – many of whom have never held or shot a gun a before. A highlight of their trip is always going out to the shooting club and learning to shoot clay pigeons.
We take groups out to Rend Lake Shooting Complex for the afternoon, teach them gun safety, and how to shoot. Our expert instructors take the utmost care and ensure that guests are safe, feel comfortable, and improve their shooting skills – even if they had no experience to begin with! It is amazing to watch someone do something they didn’t think was possible, and brings a smile to our faces every time!
For our more experienced shooters, we love to make a things a little competitive and have shooters face off in an Annie Oakley style shooting round. Shooters take turns aiming at the clays, and whoever hits the most pigeons wins! Some groups come up with a prize for the winner and others just play for bragging-rights, but it’s sure to be a fun time had by all.
Let us know when you book your trip to Pine Manor if a skeet shooting excursion is something that you would be interested in adding to your stay with us!
