SIU Football… Go Salukis

SIU Football…
Go Salukis

Pine Manor Fourish

Carbondale’s own Southern Illinois University Football team is hot off a win at Northwestern University last weekend. Starting the season 0-2, the Salukis fought to earn their win against the Big Ten school. SIU has only won two games against Big Ten teams in school history, with the last win in 2006 against Indiana!

This weekend the Salukis return home to face North Dakota for Family Weekend and the opening of conference play.

Only four more home games remain in the season. Join us at Pine Manor and enjoy a Saluki Football game just down the road on the SIU campus.

Home Schedule:

September 24 vs. North Dakota 2pm (Family Weekend)

October 15 vs. Western Illinois 2pm (Homecoming)

October 29 vs. Northern Illinois 1pm (Youth Sports Day)

November 12 vs. North Dakota State 2pm (Senior Day, Military Appreciation Day, Scout Day)

For more information and tickets:

Enjoy other homecoming events on October 15th including the Homecoming Parade at 10am, and Tailgate starting at 11am.

Pine Manor Estate still has limited availability for guest houses during the remainder of the football season. Bring your family or friends and enjoy a weekend with us and the Salukis! We have guest houses suited for every kind of trip from intimate getaways to alumni reunions. Fall is one of our most beautiful and popular seasons in Illinois with the fall colors in full swing, the wine trail open, and the excitement that football season brings to a college town. Come slow down, savor your morning coffee, take in the beauty all around you, root for your favorite team, reconnect with those most important to you, eat delicious food from our local restaurants or cook in our gourmet kitchens, relax in the hot tub – most of all truly enjoy yourself and your weekend! We look forward to hosting you soon.
